Pursuant to the Myanmar Institute of Directors (“MIoD” or the “Institute”) constitution and policy documents, the Institute will have an Annual General Meeting (“𝐀𝐆𝐌”) at which time the members of the Institute must elect directors to the vacant positions on the Board.
This year the MIoD will hold its fourth AGM to elect a board of directors who will govern our Institute which is now more than 100 members. Below you will find a 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦 link with instructions for those wishing to nominate themselves to participate in the elections and potentially on the MIoD board.
The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the strategy and policies of the MIoD, and to ensure that it achieves its mission and objectives. MIoD’s vision is to be the pioneering and leading organisation in supporting the professional development of directors with a focus on improving the effectiveness of their boards and board committees, among others.

Requirement to submit Corporate Governance Report and Independent Director Notification
The submission of Corporate Governance Report (hereinafter “CG Report”) and Independent Director Notification (hereinafter “ID Notification”), which were officially prescribed in the Securities Listing Business Regulations in this year January, has been postponed so far due to the social circumstances like the spread of COVID-19.
Now YSX would like to inform that listed companies must submit CG Report and ID Notification by the end of December this year.
CG Report is needed to contain corporate information for the financial year ended in September 2020; provided, however, listed companies are required to describe the latest status of their governance structure if there has been any updates in corporate governance since September 2020.
If listed companies have any questions about how to prepare CG Report and ID Notification, the Listing and Trading Participant Department of YSX will be pleased to help.
After CG Report and ID Notification have been submitted from listed companies, they will be confirmed by the L&TP Dept. and announced for public.
